Introducing Laceeze! We are an e-commerce sports’ accessory brand solely for children, with sales and distribution in over 20 countries. We’re best known for our patented silicon bands that wrap around most sports’ shoes and quite simply stop children’s laces coming undone during activity. These Laceeze bands come in different colours and sizes, are easy to use and provide a comfortable fit – allowing young athletes from the age of four to focus on their game without the worry of untied shoelaces.
Our Laceeze.co.uk e-commerce website also sells innovative and practical sports accessories and technical clothing, all designed specifically for the needs of children to enable them to perform their best in sport. Our single-minded and dedicated focus to creating and selling products specifically for the youth market is what really sets our brand apart.
Emma Burke, our Founder and product co-inventor was fed up of watching her children and their teammates constantly stopping to tie their laces during a match, or worse still watching an exasperated coach bending down to help, again and again. After months of research and product development, Emma and a fellow footy mum invented Laceeze bands – a simple but extremely effective product made from the highest quality silicon with ribbed technology and the rest as they say is history!
We are delighted to have been nominated for the ‘Sports eCommerce Website of the Year’ and this is testament to our hard work and dedication to make grassroots’ sport more accessible for children from all backgrounds.

With regard to the e-commerce award we have been nominated for, we know that customer experience is the number one priority for us and this shows in our constant need to improve the UX. We know that our customers will search on Amazon for shopping ease and confidence. By building the platform on Shopify our customers are able to get a two-touch checkout similar to the Amazon experience.
Our website has clear navigation throughout and call-to-action buttons for the customers are always visible. Every product is easily found, simply explained and purchased in a few pages.
However we never get complacent – we are constantly looking at ways to improve our customer experience. For instance; this year we incorporated Gorgias chatbot which has enabled faster responses to FAQs. We want our audience to feel part of our brand so using tools such as Fera.ai helps us collate user generated content for repurposing on the site and throughout our social media. Tools such as Candyrack help with upselling other useful products and as a result we are operating well above industry average with a healthy 4.9% take rate.
Our Laceeze Ambassador Programme is also part of our strategy to engage with like-minded young athletes to help inspire our audience. Our regular blog posts also help to create a unique knowledge space where young players and their parents can find support, inspiration and a positive sense of camaraderie.
